Mount Norquay
Mount Norquay is Banff’s best family ski resort. It is situated in the Canadian Rockies at the Banff National Park. It has been the ski area in this part of Canada since 1926. Mount Norquay is renowned for its quintet of steep freefalls which is served by the Norquay double chair. It is also the only resort in Bow Valley that offers night skiing. Mont Orignal’s longest run measures to about 5,900 feet. It also has a base elevation of 205 feet above sea level and maximum elevation of 970 feet. Around 27% of the terrains are conducive for beginners, 20% for intermediate, 46% for professionals and 7% for experts.
