Eagle Rock Resort
Snow sports enthusiasts will enjoy staying at Eagle Rock Resort. The resort has skiing, snow boarding, and snow tubing for winter sports activities. Eagle Rock has a mile long terrain park, new tubing park, improved beginner slope, and skating rink. It also has some area attractions like the Eckley Miner's Village Museum, Pioneer Tunnel Coal Mine and Locomotive, and Greater Hazleton Historical Society. The resort is just 5 miles southwest of Hazleton.

1. Tuxedo Ridge
Located in Tuxedo, New York, Tuxedo Ridge is over the New Jersey state line on N.Y. Route 17A. It has a total of 8 trails, 4 lifts, a terrain park, and a tubing park. Most visitors like Bunny Slope; it is made especially for kids to have fun in the snow.

Greek Peak Mountain Resort is the resort for families who loves adventure and quality time. It is situated off of I-81 in New York’s Snow Belt. It boasts 32 trails of different terrains. The terrain parks and half pipe cater to the experts while the Progression Park is for novice skiers. Some of the resort’s facilities include a cafeteria, rental shop, children’s center and child care.

The Powder Ridge Ski Area, while not a resort, is still a rather good place to ski. Found on Besek Mountain in Connecticut, it is seen by many as THE best ski area in the state. With 75 acres worth of ski-worthy territory, Powder Ridge terrains cater to skiers of all skill levels – ranging to wide spaces for beginners, and obstacle trails for the more experienced. The ski learning programs at Power Ridge are also known to be more organized than some others.

Whether it's the 46 trails, mostly for intermediate and advanced skiers, or the excitement of their undiscovered terrains, there's always something to look for and hunt at Tenney Mountain. And that's pretty fun for a 1,400 vertical foot area of mountain. A great activity to look forward to in Tenney Mountain is the racing, so make sure to ask about that.

It has 44 trails, and, because it's a family-friendly resorts, the trails are varied enough to make the beginner, intermediate, and expert skiers happy. As far as ski destinations go, Mount Abram might be seen as kind of traditional. Nevertheless, it is a good place to do some leisure skiing, and has created a reputation for having the best-groomed trails in the area.
