Wintergreen Resort was dubbed the “best ski resort” by Washington Post.com. The resort is accessible in just an hour and a half from Richmond, Virginia. It is nestled near the Blue Ridge Parkway in Central Virginia. The mountain elevation is 3, 515 feet with a vertical drop of 1,003 feet. It boasts a total of 26 slopes and trails suitable for beginners to experts. The resort also features Virginia’s biggest tubing park. It is a haven for snow sports—skiing, snow tubing, and snow boarding.
