Hawk Inn and Mountain Resort
Hawk Inn is more of a four-season resort than a ski resort. But it makes for a good ski resort in the winter – it definitely has some of the best downhill skiing in the East, thanks in to its valley location. There's also miles of cross-country skiing here. A very sedate skiing experience.

Warner Canyon my be just a community ski area that's really not that big at all, but it's a great place to take the kids to. Most of the slopes are for beginners and intermediates, so more experienced skiers will not find the challenge they want here. Still, this area run by the Fremont Highlander Ski Club is good for a relaxing ski and a day of fun.

It's fun, with a masterful blend of difficult, intermediate and easy trails, with a friendly and helpful staff. Moreover, a lot of its patrons are loyal customers, who have stuck to the resort for several years running, a testament to its dedication to quality and service.
