Camelback Ski Area
Camelback Ski Area has 33 trails, majority of which is designed for beginners. The lift system has 15 in total with the uphill capacity of 18,600 persons per hour. The entire mountain is designed for snow sports, whether skiing, snowboarding, or snowtubing. Camelback is located at Tannersville, Pennsylvania.

Blandford Ski Area is pretty much known as the oldest club-owned ski area in North America, and even then you can't say that it's old hat. They have difficult, narrow trails for the more experienced skiers, uncomplicated glades for those who aren't used to it, and wide, open slopes that are fun for everybody. All that is perfectly maintained and groomed for the enjoyment of families. Couple this with a good ski education program and race programs, and you have one heck of a place.

The Eaglecrest Ski Area is just that – a community-owned ski area – but there's a reason why it's called “the best little ski area in the world”. Because the area is pretty much cut off from the mainland, it's rarely crowded and you'll be free to enjoy the 31 trails on th 640 acres of very challenging skiable area. There is also some great cross-country terrain here, as well as terrain park, and a beginners area.

Mohawk Mountain is may be known as the oldest ski area in Connecticut, but that doesn't mean that it is any less exciting than the newer resorts. After all, being the largest ski area in the state has to count for something: with 24 trails maintained by snowmakers and designed for all levels of skiing, Mohawk mountain has something for everyone. It was, and still is, the best snow-based resort in the area.

Opened in 1962, Pines Peak Family Ski Resort is situated within Valparaiso Indiana, and is the only ski area in Northern Indiana which is built on the the high moraine left by the glaciers which formed Lake Michigan. It has 9 ski trails, which offer routes suited for beginner to advanced levels, with a summit elevation of 860 feet and a modest vertical drop of 150 feet. It's 9 ski trails are supported by 4 sturdy lifts, and allows night skiing.

Perfect North Slopes gets its name from the ease and amazing compatibility of all of its slopes to many people's preferences. It has a whooping 17 trails, with a modest yet still challenging 400 foot vertical drop. Perhaps the most selling feature of Perfect North Slopes Ski Resort is that all their slopes are available for night skiing-- with the whole area being adequately lit to enable guests to ski under a blanket of stars. Perfect North Slopes also offers skiing lessons for beginner individuals and groups, while others confident of their abilities may opt to participate in some of their races, which include NASTAR races every Saturday and Sunday afternoon.
