Woodstock

Woodstock Inn's Suicide Six is a small ski area as far as ski areas go with its 23 ski runs, but it doesn't mean that it's not worth a visit. It is funny to note, however, that despite the name “Suicide Six”, it's terrain is mostly ideal for leisurely recreational skiing. But more experienced skiers need not fear – the difficult trails (especially the Face) are really difficult, and you can have fun on those. Woodstock also offers ski tours and a good cross-country program.

The Nashoba Valley Ski Area may be small, but it doesn't mean it's not worthwhile. It has seventeen trails, most of which are for intermediate and advanced level skiers – the Wardance Trail is a favorite, for its moguls and that jump at the end. Most of the trails are pretty much littered with array of rails, jibs and jumps. All in all, a pretty fun ski place to check out.

Jiminy Peak is a medium-sized ski resort that boasts of its family-friendly skiing amenities. Out of its 170 ski-worthy acres, you find yourself faced with 44 trails – most of which are alpine and ideal for all levels of skiing. All the trails and terrains are refreshed with manufactured snow every night, so they can be enjoyed every day. The most exciting program so far, however, would be the SKIwee program, which helps young children lean how to ski and the after-work programs for the adults.
