The Wildcat Mountain Ski Resort, is pretty much a prime alpine skiing destination that should be visited at least once (if you happen to be in the area). It has a reputation for having the “most continuous vertical terrain in the White Mountain National Forest”, and if that doesn't scream “wicked cool”, then nothing will. This, coupled with 47 ski trails that are mostly intermediate in level and an ungroomed cross-country trail, makes Wildcat Mountain (also known as “The Cat”) one of the best ski experiences ever. Come with the family.

Although it isn't as big as some other ski resorts with its 135 acres worth of skiable area, no one can say that skiing in Magic Mountain is boring. It has about 35 runs to its name, and half of those are regarded as some of the most difficult in the area. Thrill seekers will be happy to know that it has an array of trees, steeps and cliffs that make even the most experienced skiers hesitate. Indeed, a very challenging terrain – all the while still having some trails suited to the less experienced.
