Mount Holiday
Mount Holiday is maintained and preserved by a dedicated group of skiiing enthusiasts. Its known for its welcoming atmosphere, it's preference for children and families, and affordable skiing rates. It was originally part of the Fife Lake State Forest Land, until the bay-view hills were cleared by some businessmen in order to build the ski resort. Mount Holiday was a community effort-- locals had given it both time and financial support, until it become the popular resort we know today.

If you were asked to describe Crystal Mountain using only one word, consider using “gnarly” (if you're prone to excitement) or “challenging” (if you're tame), because the terrain is vast AND difficult for the most part. The snow is deep, the trails are generally rugged, and expert skiers will appreciate that kind of thing. That doesn't mean that novice skiers don't have a snowball's chance in hell here, though – some of the trails are pretty mild. But mostly, this is for experienced skiers.

2. Ski Bradford
Ski Bradford may be small, with only thirteen trails to its name, but it's incredibly decent considering that seven of those are difficult trails, and only three are beginner trails. Ski Bradford also has a wicked terrain park where stunts can be observed and performed on an almost regular basis. Night skiing is also offered at Ski Bradford, as well as a large-scale after-school teaching program for school clubs. Being very close to Boston, it isn't surprising that Ski Bradford is a popular ski destination.
