Canyon Ski Area is situated 10 kilometers east of Red Deer, along the David Thompson Highway. This ski resort features a vertical drop of 146 meters, 5 lifts, thirteen runs, one triple chair, one double chair and handle tow. The Canyon Ski Area is the first ski resort established in Canada.
