The Park at Bear offers 59 jibs and 64 snow features including two 35-foot step downs, a 20-foot tall quarter pipe and our Pro Team Riders signature jibs to name but a few of the 123 features. It could take you all day or a couple of weeks to figure out how many combinations are out there so start now before Park Staff redesigns The Park!

2. Ski Sundown
Ski Sundown is not actually a ski resort in the proper sense, but it is one of the good ski areas you can find in Connecticut. It has 15 trails, most of which are lighted for when you want to indulge in night skiing. Ski Sundown is more geared towards the beginners, though (9 of the trails are for that level). But that doesn't mean that the adrenaline junkies can't have their fun – the Gunbarrel trail, for example, is a steep, straight ski down the side of the mountain.

3. Whitetail Ski Resort
Whitetail Ski Resort is nestled between Mercersburg, Pennsylvania and Clear Spring, Maryland. Its top elevation is 1,800 feet with a vertical drop of 935 feet. The ski resort has 19 trails with half pipe and terrain park. It has 8 lifts and an uphill capacity of 11,200 skiers per hour. Night skiing is available every night. The amenities include dining areas, internet café, lodging, sports shop, and changing rooms.

4. Swain Resort
Swain Resort has a lot in store for skiers this year. The expansion includes 2 new trails, new tubing concessions, and new lodge colors. Also, it has the new Magic Carpet® surface lift which offers convenience for beginners. Estimated drive times are 1 hour from Rochester, and 4 hours from Cleveland.
