Located right smack in the center of the Niagara Encarpment, one of Canada's best snow-clad areas, the Beaver Valley Ski Club has several on and off hill facilities and recreational activities to offer each member of the family. More than two dozen ski runs for ski enthusiasts of different ski levels would ensure that dad, mom and the kids would find the right kind of ski run to enjoy. Not to mention the Beaver Valley Ski Club also has several cozy fireplaces, six chair lifts, a cafeteria, several ski trails, a snow school and several other amenities and services offered.

Considered as one of the top three best ski resorts in Ontario, the Blue Mountain Ski Resort is both impressively large and constantly busy since its many facilities and features as popular among vacationers and avid skiers. The Blue Mountain Ski Resort has undergone a recent renovation which lead to the construction of several improvements and new features. Some of these special features found at Blue Mountain include 34 runs, more than a dozen chairlifts, a resort village, 5 freestyle ski terrains, and four high-speed chairlifts that could accommodate up to six passengers each.

Home to the London Ski Club, the Boler Mountain is dubbed by many as your neighborhood ski resort. This is because this Ontario ski resort is found just at the edge of a little suburban town in Ontario called Byron and is a favorite recreational spot of both locals and tourists alike. Although not necessarily a mountain but more of a large hill, the Boler Mountain is a great place to go skiing, snow tubing and snow boarding.

The Calendon Ski Club is a ski resort located a in Ontario, just a mere 45 minutes drive from Toronto, making it a popular weekend or holiday destination for families and locals. This Canadian ski resort has a very wholesome, family-oriented atmosphere and has something special that each member of the family will enjoy during their visit. They have plenty of trails and runs, and even a kinder ski area for kids to practice their skiing techniques.

Part of the incredibly large Centennial Olympic Park near Toronto and Ontario, Canada is the Centennial Park Snow Centre. The Centennial Park offers many park amenities such as playgrounds, restaurants, picnic areas, gardens and several sports facilities. Its Centennial Park Snow Centre however, is the haven for winter sports lovers and skiers. The Centennial Park Snow Center has ski slopes perfect for beginner, amateur and expert skiers.

8. Chicopee Ski Club
The Chicoppe Ski Club in Ontario, Canada stands out from all the other ski resorts in Canada because of the fact that it is one of the very few ski resorts founded by non-profit organizations. Instead of making ton of cash, the organization that founded the Chicopee Ski Club just wanted to provide people with a venue for winter recreational activities. Presently, the Chicopee Ski Club is equipped with 14 runs, 2 magic carpets and 4 chairlifts. Several more lifts are currently being made so as to provide more convenience to skiers at Chicopee Ski Club.

10. Dagmar Resort
One of the main concerns of skiers when choosing a ski resort is the availability of chairlifts and magic carpets since having to spend most of your time waiting in lines instead of speeding down runs and trails is a shameful waste of time and money. Thankfully, there are ski resorts in Ontario, Canada such as the Dagmar Resort which has plenty of lift facilities to make the skiing experience of their guests line- and waiting-free. They also have several runs and trails and even a new terrain park at the Dagmar Resort Ski Area.
