1. Belle Neige
The name says it all! Belle Neige, or pretty snow offers super-size enjoyment when it comes to family skiing or snowboarding. It also provides for an amazing view of the Laurentians and 14 challenging trails to choose from. Some of the other attractions of Belle Neige include the: Sentier des Toutous which is for young adults and intermediate skiers; Petit Poucet Forest, a fairyland wonderland that features kid-sized and life-sized fable characters like the ogre, Petit Poucet and his brothers. Belle Neige also offers Jacques Champoux’s teaching program for children aged 3 to 4 years old.

2. Camp Fortune
Camp Fortune is an alpine ski center that is located in the Gatineau Hills north of Gatineau, Quebec. Camp Fortune offers three skiing areas- skyline, meech quad and the valley. Skyline has 1 intermediate run, 3 difficult and two extremely difficult runs. The meech quad, on the other hand, has 2 intermediate runs, with one almost 1 mile long. The valley offers two quad lifts, 1 triple lift and two surface lifts, services 5 easy runs, 4 intermediate runs and 1 difficult run. Other snow activities in Camp Fortune include mountain biking expeditions and outdoor Aerial Experience.

3. Le Massif
Simply beautiful. This is often the reaction of people to the Le Masif ski resort. Le Masif is strategically located in Petite-Riviere-Saint Francois, Quebec. It features 45 trails and glades, 24% of which are for beginners, 36% for intermediate, 28% for expert skiers, as well as 12% extremely difficult trails. Aside from its impressive trails, Le Massif also famed itself for having three peaks which are all accessible from the top and base. Its steepest trail is the Le Charlevoix which is the alpine training center of Canadian athletes. Being a certified skiing mecca, Le Massef also offers a plethora accommodation and rental services to tourists.

4. Les Relais
Les Relais is just 15 minutes away downtown Quebec City. It features 173 acres of skiable area that consist of 28 trails for skiers of various level- beginners, intermediate or experts. All of its tracks are also adequately illuminated by 640 Metalarc reflectors that approximately give of 100 Watts light power. Les Relais also has seven modern lifts, as well as, a ski and snowboard fun park. To ensure that the snow is always at its fine condition, all the slopes are groomed nightly.

5. Massif du Sud
Massif du Sud, may be the “le secret le mieux garde” (best kept secret) in the whole Canada. Its untarnished beauty and amazing snow conditions lures skiers and snowboarders across the country. Massif du Sud also features 30 kilometers of cross-country skiing and 20 kilometers of snowshoeing trails. It has two lifts with a total capacity of 1,600 skiers per hour. Also to ensure great snow condition, the resort is closed Monday to Thursday.

6. Mont Orford
Mont Orford is a ski resort established in 1938 on the Eastern Townships region of Quebec. Mont Orford features three summits (Mont Giroux, Mont orford, and Mont Alfred Desrochers) perfect for cross-county skiing and snowshoeing activities. There are also 13 perfectly marked and groomed trails that measured to about 47 kilometers. Mont Orford ski area is open from mid-December to March yearly. Mont Orford is the home of Olympic medalist Nicolas Fontaine.

Mont Orignal is a winter resort located off Lac Etchemin. It features a multitude of snow activities and events like alpine, cross-country skiing and snow tubing. Mont Orignal’s longest run measures to about 5,900 feet. It also has a base elevation of 205 feet above sea level and maximum elevation of 970 feet. Around 27% of the terrains are conducive for beginners, 20% for intermediate, 46% for professionals and 7% for experts.

Forty kilometers northeast of Quebec City, is an enchanting ski resort named Mont-Sainte-Anne. This ski resort has a maximum altitude of 2,625 feet and a vertical drop of 2,050 feet. If there is one ski resort to visit in Quebec, then this is definitely the one. It offers countless winter and summer activities from snowshoeing, dog sledding, ice skating to paragliding and hiking. Mont-Sainte-Anne consists of three challenging terrains, 66 trails and 17 allocated for night skiing.

There is no place more convenient for skiing than that of the Mont Saint-Bruno. This astonishing place features nature in its grandiosity and untouched beauty. It has an apple orchard, woodland trails and spa. The Mont Saint-Bruno ski resort has 15 trails, 8 lifts, snowboard facilities and night time lighting that makes night skiing possible. It also has a vertical drop of 134 meters.
