1. Attitash
Attitash is considered the biggest skiing resort in New Hampshire, with two mountains connected to its name. This of course means that there is a large number of possibilities with regards to the variety of their 70 trails and terrains, enough to satisfy skill levels from beginner to expert – although there are more trails for the intermediate skier. The trails, terrains, and glades are, of course supported by the most powerful snowmaking system in the state, so you'll be sure to find a well-groomed and maintained trail for your vacation.

5. Cranmore Mountain Resort
This is pretty much THE best family resort in New Hampshire as far as anyone is concerned, so much so that even foreigners go out of their way to vacation there. Not at all surprising – Cranmore Mountain Resort's 40 trails are designed to engage anyone in the family. And with fewer advanced trails than beginner and intermediate trails, Cranmore proves to be more about the joy of skiing than the thrill of it. If you need lessons or refresher courses, there's no need to worry – there are world-class ski instructors to help you here.

6. Crotched Mountain
Crotched Mountain may be just a ski area, but it doesn't mean that it's not worth a skiing on. Half of it's twenty trails are considered intermediate in skill difficulty, and all the trails are meticulously kept up by means of snowmakers – supposedly, these things produce 200 US gallons per minute per acre of manufactured snow. As far as ski areas go, this is some major dedication. The fact that they're open until three in the morning for night skiing every Friday and Saturday is also a bonus.
