4. Eagle Rock Resort

Snow sports enthusiasts will enjoy staying at Eagle Rock Resort. The resort has skiing, snow boarding, and snow tubing for winter sports activities. Eagle Rock has a mile long terrain park, new tubing park, improved beginner slope, and skating rink. It also has some area attractions like the Eckley Miner's Village Museum, Pioneer Tunnel Coal Mine and Locomotive, and Greater Hazleton Historical Society. The resort is just 5 miles southwest of Hazleton.

Hidden Valley Four Season Resort is situated in a Pennsylvanian region famous for outdoor leisure, Laurel Highlands. The mountain has a base elevation of 2,405 feet and a top elevation of 2,875 feet. The skiable area is 70 acres with 28 trails, majority of which is for beginners. It has 8 lifts including 1 quad, 2 triple chairs, 3 double chairs, and 2 surface lifts. 6. Seven Springs Mountain Resort

Seven Springs Mountain Resort is only an hour's drive southeast of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The top elevation of the mountain is 2,994 feet while the base elevation is 2,240 feet. The ski season period is from December 1 until April 1. The lift system encompasses 10 chairs, 3 surface lifts, and 2 conveyors. The Spot is the Seven Springs' terrain park made for skiing experts. It has a huge jump, flat-down box, 2 x 6 rail street style, a wallride and barrel bonk.

7. Snö Mountain Ski Resort

Snö Mountain Ski Resort is 2 hours away from New York and Philadelphia, and about 3 to 4 hours from Baltimore and Washington D.C. Snö Mountain has 270 snow guns so the snowmaking capacity is 100% on the whole 204 acres of terrain. It has two terrain parks, Rail Park and Jump Park. There are 30 trails in total, most of them are the easiest runs. Also, the ski resort has 100% lighting so night skiing is always an option.

8. Ski Big Bear

First time skiers will enjoy staying at Ski Big Bear. The resort renders private ski and snowboard lessons. Also most of the slopes are designed for beginners. Ski Big Bear has 18 trails in total and it still offers runs for skiing experts. It is situated at the end of Karl Hope Blvd. in Masthope Mountain Community, Lackawaxen, Philadelphia.

9. Liberty Mountain Resort

Liberty Mountain Resort is located at Carroll Valley, Pennsylvania adjacent to the Catoctin Mountains. It is accessible from Baltimore, Washington DC and all of South Central Pennsylvania. The skiing season is from December until mid-March. The resort has more than 100 acres of skiable area, 16 trails, 6 chairlifts, and 14 lanes at Boulder Ridge Snow Tubing. Carroll Valley Resort, Appalachian Trail, and Catoctin Mountain State Park are some of the area attractions.

10. Ski Roundtop

Another ski resort in Pennsylvania is found at Lewisberry. Ski Roundtop has 3 terrain parks, 16 trails, 1 halfpipe, and 10 lifts. The longest run is 4,100 feet and the vertical drop is 600 feet. One of the resort's highlights is snow tubing. It is made fun and safe for kids in the Kiddie Snow Tubing Hill.
