If you like the feeling of skiing right in your backyard, go to Granlibakken. The resort offers the perfect getaway from swarming vacation spots this winter. It may be small compared to other resorts in California but their facilities can provide a complete ski experience like cross-country skiing and snowshoeing.

This resort is also known as the home of California’s only Ski Academy and the Sugar Bowl Ski Team. With high-tech facilities and especially made trails, it truly is inviting to snow sports lovers.

Bear Valley Mountain Resort places as the eight largest ski area in California. The resort boasts varying terrains for all kinds of skiers. One of its area attractions is the Grizzly Bowl. “Grizz” is one of the most difficult descents in all of California.
